Plano prides itself on providing great opportunities for culture and recreation. There are more than 80 public park sites, more than 90 soccer and football fields, as well as five recreation centers in the city. The city also boasts an extensive bike trail system that encompasses 70 miles of shared-use paths. In fact, Plano was ranked the top bikeable city in Texas by Walk Score. Plano’s most popular annual events include the Plano Balloon Festival, Plano’s Symphony Valentine’s Day Gala and its Suburbia Music Festival.
